Contraindications
- Untreated pneumothorax
- Active hemoptysis
- Unstable head/neck or suspected spinal injury
Relative Contraindications
- Increased intracranial pressure (>20 mmHg)
- Recent thoracic surgery or rib fractures
- Severe osteoporosis or metastatic bone disease
